Conclusion
The project entailed several aspects of simulation and development which enabled team members to enhance there skills regarding design and simulation. Mobile robotic manipulator design challenged the team members to think outside the box and relate the design project to a real life scenario as in 21st century; industry sector is inclined towards the automation to increase production with a high efficiency. The software’s such as RobotC, MATLAB (platform of SimMechanics and Simulink), and Solid Works were used to obtain the simulation results which helped in tuning and controlling the motion of the robot arm effectively. Programs for the Ryerson MechBot and Robot arm are included in APPENDIX II and APPENDIX III respectively. Overall, the project successfully provided the team members with a hands on experience regarding electromechanical and software design which will be an aid in there future.
